Preschool
Preschoolers love to play to learn. They are starting to really use their imaginations and creativity and you can see this as they build with blocks or play in the “kitchen area” of the classroom. Preschool children are developing very important social skills and the teachers and assistants encourage them to use their words to work on problem solving with their friends. This class goes outside twice a day (weather permitting) and if they are inside, they have music and movement time to release some energy safely indoors while having fun. The preschool classroom loves to get messy, whether it be through art or sensory play. Curriculum (based on Massachusetts State Early Education and Care Guidelines) is planned age appropriately for smaller groups of children age two years, nine months to six.
